A retreat for freelance & self-employed marketers in New York City.
For the marketers in the middle who’ve made it work — and now feel a little stuck.
7 & 8 November 2026
You’ve built something that works.
Now you’re rethinking pricing, workload, and whether scaling even makes sense.
7 & 8 November 2026 | New York City
If this feels familiar, you’re exactly who we’re building this for.
Not a motivational retreat.
A working room for marketers deciding whether to raise prices, hire help, stay solo — or scale.
You’ve launched, found clients, and proven your skills. But growth has slowed, decisions feel heavier, and the usual advice doesn’t quite apply anymore.
The Marketer's Edit is an in-person retreat for freelance and self-employed marketers at exactly this stage — where the question is no longer how to get started, but what to do next.
Two days in New York City. Forty people. Every session is built around the decisions that actually matter at this point: pricing, hiring, capacity, scale — and whether more is even the right answer.
No polished success stories. No one-size-fits-all frameworks. Just a room full of people who are far enough along to have real questions — and working through them together.
This retreat is for you if…
you’re already self-employed, freelance, or running a small agency
you're past the 'finding clients' problem — the questions are different now
growth has slowed, plateaued, or started to feel harder than it should
you’re navigating questions around pricing, hiring, structure, or scale
you're done with advice that assumes you're starting from zero
Participation will be limited to approximately 40 people to keep conversations honest, focused, and genuinely useful.
Hosted by people who are still in it.
Latasha James is a business coach, marketing strategist, and content creator who has spent over a decade helping freelancers and creators build businesses that work for them. She runs her own studio, coaches hundreds of people through the exact decisions this retreat is built around, and has been featured in Forbes, Business Insider, and the Washington Post. She's not teaching from a textbook.
Elena Krumlowsky went fully self-employed the day after graduating in 2021. Since then she's built some of Luxembourg's most recognizable brand presences — including the visit_luxembourg account with over 110k followers. She co-created this retreat because she's navigating the same questions as everyone in the room.
We're having these conversations in our own businesses, too.
