A retreat for freelance & self-employed marketers in New York City.
For the marketers in the middle who’ve made it work — and now feel a little stuck.
Autumn 2026
You’ve built something that works.
Now you’re rethinking pricing, workload, and whether scaling even makes sense.
Autumn 2026 | New York City
If this feels familiar, you’re exactly who we’re building this for.
Not a motivational retreat.
A working room for marketers deciding whether to raise prices, hire help, stay solo — or scale.
The Marketer’s Edit is an in-person retreat for marketers who’ve already built something that works — and now feel a little stuck.
You’ve launched, found clients, and proven your skills. But growth has slowed, decisions feel heavier, and the usual advice doesn’t quite apply anymore.
This retreat is designed for the in-between stage — where questions around scaling, pricing, hiring, systems, or staying solo start to matter more than quick wins or visibility hacks.
Over a focused weekend in New York City, we’ll create space for honest conversations, practical thinking, and real perspective — away from day-to-day noise, performative success stories, and one-size-fits-all frameworks.
Beyond the core two-day retreat, we’re also exploring a small number of optional extension days.
A third day focused on content creation — including updated headshots and brand imagery — because we all know how rarely we make time to create for ourselves. And a potential fourth day structured as a mastermind-style working session, for deeper discussion, reflection, and implementation.
Both are still being shaped and will depend on interest.
This isn’t a motivational retreat. It’s a working room for people who want to think clearly about how they grow next — and whether “more” is actually the right answer.
This isn’t a conference and it’s not a series of talks.
The Marketer’s Edit is a working space.
It’s designed to help you step out of day-to-day execution and focus on the decisions that actually shape your business.
Over the core retreat days, some of the conversations we expect to explore include:
pricing decisions and how to raise rates sustainably
whether hiring support actually makes sense — and what kind
how to structure your workload so growth doesn’t mean burnout
when staying solo is a strategic choice, not a limitation
The format is intentionally interactive:
guided discussions, panel-style conversations, and small-group work, with time to pressure-test ideas alongside people at the same stage as you.
This is about slowing down enough to make better decisions. Not about adding more to your to-do list.
This retreat is for you if…
you’re already self-employed, freelance, or running a small agency
you’ve found clients and proven your skills
growth has slowed, plateaued, or started to feel messy
you’re navigating questions around pricing, hiring, structure, or scale
you want honest conversations — not polished success stories
Participation will be limited to approximately 20–40 people to keep conversations honest, focused, and genuinely useful.
Hosted by people who are still in it.
Latasha & Elena are both actively running their own businesses and navigating the same questions many attendees are facing — around growth, structure, and long-term sustainability.
We’re having these conversations in our own businesses, too.
