The Marketers’ Edit — Event Ticket Terms & Conditions

This Purchase Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between James + Park LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the purchaser (“Attendee,” “you,” or “your”) in connection with the purchase of a ticket to The Marketers’ Edit (the “Event”), scheduled to take place in Brooklyn, New York in November 2026.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following terms:

1. Event Information

The Marketers’ Edit is a boutique, in-person educational and networking event for marketers, creators, freelancers, and business owners.

Event details, programming, speakers, schedules, and offerings are subject to change at the Company’s discretion.

2. Ticket Types

Available ticket tiers may include:

  • VIP

  • Full Weekend

  • Saturday Only

Ticket benefits and inclusions are described on the Event sales page and may be updated or modified at any time prior to the Event.

3. Payment Terms

Payment Plans

If selecting a payment plan:

  • You agree to complete all scheduled payments.

  • Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of your ticket access.

  • Payments are non-transferable to another product or service.

The Company reserves the right to use a third-party payment processor.

4. Refund Policy

All Sales Final

Due to the limited-capacity nature of the Event, all ticket purchases are non-refundable.

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Scheduling conflicts

  • Travel issues

  • Illness

  • Failure to attend

  • Personal emergencies

  • Change of mind

You may request to transfer your ticket to another attendee no later than [30] days before the Event, subject to Company approval.

5. Event Changes

The Company reserves the right to:

  • Modify programming

  • Change speakers

  • Adjust schedules

  • Change venue locations within the New York City area

  • Modify Event format if necessary

Such changes do not qualify for refunds.

6. Assumption of Risk

By attending the Event, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including travel-related risks and interactions with other attendees.

You agree to release and hold harmless the Company, its owners, contractors, speakers, staff, and affiliates from any claims, damages, injuries, losses, or liabilities arising from Event participation.

7. Code of Conduct

We are committed to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and professional environment.

Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behavior, or conduct deemed harmful to attendees, speakers, staff, or the Event experience may result in removal from the Event without refund.

The Company reserves the right to refuse admission or remove attendees at its discretion.

8. Photography & Media Release

By attending the Event, you acknowledge and agree that photographs, video recordings, and audio recordings may be captured during the Event.

You grant the Company permission to use your likeness, voice, image, and participation for promotional, educational, marketing, and commercial purposes without compensation.

9. Intellectual Property

All Event materials, presentations, recordings, branding, and content are owned by the Company or respective speakers and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without permission.

10. Accessibility & Dietary Requests

The Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate accessibility and dietary needs submitted in advance but cannot guarantee all requests can be fulfilled.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company’s total liability arising from this Agreement shall not exceed the amount paid by Attendee for the Event ticket.

12. Force Majeure

The Company shall not be held liable for delays, cancellations, or modifications caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • natural disasters

  • pandemics

  • government restrictions

  • labor disputes

  • venue issues

  • acts of terrorism

  • transportation disruptions

In such cases, the Company may reschedule, modify, or cancel the Event at its discretion.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Agreement Acceptance

By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Purchase Agreement and the Event policies outlined herein.
